As a way of decentralizing art and showing its works in different places of the country, the Serralves Foundation has established partnerships with various municipalities to exhibit pieces from its collection. The goal is also to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the museum and park of Porto. The Teatro das Figuras in Faro, for example, will host the photography exhibition “Patrícia Almeida – Portobello”. Already the Municipal Museum of Caminha hosts the exhibition “Body, Abstraction and Language in Portuguese Art” in the coming weeks.
The Stock Exchange Palace, in Porto, will have “Heavy Metal Stack of Six”, work by the British Angela Bulloch. Already the Municipal Gallery of Matosinhos will receive “Table of Dreams: Two Collections of Contemporary Art”.
