Tim’s Terrace, named after Tim Bergqvist, Sophia Bergqvist’s father, co-owner and manager of Quinta La Rosa, is the farm’s latest gastronomic bet after the opening of Clara’s Kitchen – in tribute to Sophia’s grandmother, Claire Feuerheerd – in 2017.

The pizzas and snacks, available for lunch from Tuesday to Saturday, are under the charge of Kit Weaver, one of Sophia’s three children. It is he who idealizes the combinations that make up the pizza, using ingredients that highlight the region. The beef heart tomato pizza, available during the month of August, is one of the suggestions, along with Serra cheese, figs and caramelized onion, pepper pizza, mushrooms and sausage and the classic Margherita.

In the snacks, there is room for “Tim’s nail”, the hamburger with port wine chives, codfish balls and alheira balls stuffed with Serra cheese. And a selection of homemade ice cream to finish. On Tuesdays and Saturdays at dinner, or under appointment, there is also a barbecue, this time at the command of chef Pedro Cardoso, from Clara’s Kitchen. The menu consists of a selection of starters that includes chorizo bread, homemade and made in a wood oven, olives and olive oil from Quinta de La Rosa and tomato gazpacho.

In the meat that arrives on the grill, there is room for chicken, rump steak, pork neck and alcheiras, to accompany with varied salads, beet pickles, grilled pineapple and other suggestions. There is also a large selection of sauces, and for dessert: chocolate and berries with vanilla ice cream. To water, everything is not lacking the wines and beers of Quinta de La Rosa, of course.
