JNcQUOI Asia is a space that tells the story through the food of a small nation and its adventurous, curious and tenacious people, who extended their influence overseas, opening up food and spice routes to all four corners of the globe. These travels resulted in a fusion of cultures that allowed Portugal to extend its influence to India, Siam, China and Japan. We are the true “Heroes of the Sea”! JNcQUOI Asia is the revelation of the Portuguese legacy in the Orient. With more than 900m2 and capacity for over than 300 people, the most awaited restaurant arrived in Lisbon. The decoration of the first JNcQUOI surprised everyone. With a Velociraptor dinosaur skeleton in the dining room, this new space will open in July. Dedicated to the Asian flavours (the main room will also have a dragon falling from the ceiling), the new version of this restaurant will have a bar, a restaurant, a sushi area and a terrace.

Like the other JNcQuoi, in Tivoli, this one is also part of the Amorim Luxury Group. The construction has been happening in the last months and it’s possible to the countdown on the restaurant’s website, on the 10th of July. The project was conceived by the same architect as the first one, Lázaro Rosa Violán.

In the new Asian style restaurant, it’s possible to try the best food from India, Japan, China and Thailand. The menu was signed by the chef António Boia. Robata, Wok, Tandoori and Beijing duck are some of the available dishes.

At the cocktail bar, you will be able to stay before heading to the restaurant. There are 90 seats, part of them at the counter. The selection includes a selection of Japanese sake and whiskeys. On one of the walls, you will find a world map made with Portuguese tiles. It was created by the Viúva Lamego factory and measures 4.54 by 2.27 meters.

Asia also could not miss a sushi bar. The 45 seats are arranged rectangular to follow everything the sushimen are preparing for the centre. The menu was created by the Portuguese Miguel Bértolo.

Finally, you have to know about the terrace. The decor reminds the streets of Tokyo, Hong Kong and Bangkok with lots of neon scattered. It will be one of the spots of the summer and there will be able to sit 50 people. This space also has a garden. JNcQUOI was the great news of 2017 in the city. It has three floors, a restaurant, a bar, a grocery store with gourmet products and a Fashion Clinic store.
