With the main goal of working the haute cuisine, Fortaleza do Guincho restaurant opened doors in 1998. Later then, in 2001, the restaurant, marked by its strong influence of haute cuisine, won its first Michelin star. Ever since, Fortaleza do Guincho restaurant has been holding on to it.

The Hotel Fortaleza do Guincho counts with eight Courtyard Rooms, located in the cloister, with side beach view through a small fortress window. Upstairs, the 16 Superior Rooms offer splendid views of the Atlantic Ocean, all with enclosed balconies.
