The Entre Pontes Restaurant will provide you with an unforgettable meal. Entre Pontes is one of the highlights of Porto Royal Bridges in Baixa, the new hotel of the Jase group, also responsible for Douro Royal Valley Hotel & Spa and Douro Palace Hotel Resort & Spa.

The black pudding and onion with pear in two textures; Zé do Pipo, 70 years later – a reinvented version of the traditional Porto dish and a chef’s classic for several years -; the Corvina with Portuguese cabbage, Bulhão Pato cream and seafood; and the piglet with orange and heart sprouts, served with piglet cabidela are some of the house’s creations.

This Portuguese rib also extends to desserts, with the bacon of the sky, the sponge cake with Serra cheese ice cream and the angel puffs. A meal without drinks is around 30 €, but as a good wine is never denied, those from the wine cellar come mainly from the Douro.

Before the meal, and after a workday, sit in the Eiffel bar, adjoining the restaurant, sample Carlos Santiago’s signature cocktails and Porto-style bifanas bao with pickles and garlic mayonnaise (5.50 €). Here’s the tip.
