From the crooked and narrow road that leads to Ciladas, you can see some of the Herdade da Ribeira de Borba buildings, but much remains to be revealed. It is at the bottom of the dirt road, after the dust settles, that the windows are opened and an unusual sound is heard from these stops. Crossing the small arched bridge up the hill, you will first pass the Casa dos Caseiros (T2), with wide views over the valley, then, in the cocuruto, Malhada, the newest part of this rural tourism farm.
On matters of taste, in the strictest sense: yes, the region is also tasted at the table without having to pass the gates of the estate. After all, Vila Viçosa is a 10-minute drive away, which, although close, can seem like a trip across deserved lazy days. Upon request (and giving half a day’s notice), D.
