The project finally got off the ground and is already under construction, with completion scheduled for 2021.
The charming hotel will have 15 rooms and a restaurant, according to Jornal de Negócios. Louboutin and his known passion for Portugal
Louboutin’s passion for Portugal is not new. The first time he came to the country “was a long time ago, when he was in his 20s”, to spend holidays with a friend and stayed at the Palácio de Seteais in Sintra, the designer once confided in an interview to Expresso.
“Portugal is my second or third home. France, of course, is the first, and the second is Italy, where I produce shoes, I spend a lot of time here. I design some of my collections here. I love Portugal because I love Portuguese. No, it is possible to like a country without liking its people. I am Breton, I was born on the coast and found the same here, but with better weather “, said the stylist, at the time, praising the country.
