Eleven
The restaurant Eleven is located in the heart of Lisbon’s business district, overlooking the entire city and surrounded by lavishing gardens. Way more than simply a restaurant, Eleven is a place of culture and art, both at the table and beyond it. The architecture of the purpose-built building is modern, minimalist and organic, using natural materials like wood and decorative stones, and boasting enormous glass windows that open towards Lisbon and Rio Tejo.

Entering this exceptional restaurant, you can see a Namban Panel, covered with a gold leaf. The metal cubes suspended from the ceiling create an atmosphere of elegance and warmth. The tables are decorated with Portuguese linens with the monogram of the restaurant embroidered, while the table service is chosen according to the guest’s request, in order to guarantee a unique experience: everything is ready for a luxurious and distinctive experience. Here, the menus Terra and Matéria, from the hands of João Rodrigues, are the most desired and consist of dishes with smoked beets, fresh cheese, tangerine and hazelnuts, as well as premium grilled arouquesa, potato puree, Swiss chard and marrow.

Belcanto
Awarded with two stars of the Michelin guide, the Belcanto first opened its doors in 1958 in Chiado. Its privileged location in Lisbon’s historic centre, the discreet service and its refined cuisine, quickly conquered the elites of the Portuguese capital. The Belcanto, by the hand of chef José Avillez, opened in 2012, with a completely new face. That same year, the restaurant was awarded a Michelin star and, in 2014, gained its second one, being the first restaurant in Lisbon to receive this incredibly high distinction.

Midori
Midori, an haute cuisine Japanese restaurant, is the Asian-inspired restaurant in Portugal to receive a Michelin star. Created in honour of four Japanese princes that lived in Portugal and renovated in 2012, it embodies modern times with several menus of fusion cuisine and a stamp of approval that’s above average.
