Setúbal, a region where the vineyards from this wine are located, is characterized by a microclimate with excellent conditions, unique with sandy soils and the Mediterranean climate, due to the proximity of the sea. The perfect harmony of these elements favours the development of perfectly adapted noble grape varieties, producing wines of exceptional quality. Intense red fruits well conjugated with a slight touch of new wood when new, evolving later to dried fruits, chocolate, spices and coffee. The pre-process of vinification passes through alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks with controlled temperature followed by prolonged skin maceration.
Vale dos Barris Castelão Tinto 2014
It has an intense garnet colour, an aroma of ripe wild fruits, jelly, complexed with notes of new wood. Soft-tasting, with good structure and velvety tannins, it ends with an extended finish with hints of vanilla, coffee and a few notes of chocolate.

Herdade dos Grous Moon Harvest 2014
The Herdade dos Grous Moon Harvest 2014 is born from a principle, which is based on the joining of ancestral knowledge with recent studies, in which the cycles of the moon interact with the physiological development of plants, namely with the intensity of the transport of the sap in certain lunar phases. The winemaking process goes through a manual harvest during the cycle of greater influence by the moon in the transportation of the sap. It also goes through fermentation in wineries with prolonged maceration, ending in a 12-month stage in new French oak barrels.

Cistus Grande Reserva Tinto 2009
The Grande Reserva is produced only in years of exceptional harvests. After their vinification, the lots are evaluated regularly during their cask stage. The best batches are selected and after a final analysis, only then the decision is made to bottle under the Grande Reserva brand. The vinification is made in stainless steel tanks with temperature control and using a “turbo-pigeur” for the reruns which allows a smooth extraction of tannins. After a short maceration after fermentation, the wine is submitted to stage. Posted with egg whites and after a light filtration, the batch is finally bottled.
Dona Graça Grande Reserva Sousão 2013
Its colour is typical of Sousão, making the wine practically opaque to light. The aroma is delicate, but at the same time has some austerity, without any traces of herbaceous or vegetables. In the mouth, it surprises by the balance between a powerful body, a vibrant acidity and an attractive aroma, which gives it a charming finish. The Fermentation is made in granite mills with mechanical steps. After malolactic, the wine is transferred to oak barrels, where it stems for about twelve months. The bottling was done in June 2013, after slight glueing and filtration. It has been stabilized by the natural cold of two winters and may, therefore, form a tenuous precipitate with time, which in no way impairs the quality of the wine.
Pombal do Vesúvio 2015
One of the celebrated reds of the Quinta do Vesuvio, the Pombal do Vesuvio is built with the highest proportion of Touriga Franca (60%), maintaining the real touch of Quinta’s wines. Here, the Touriga Nacional grape variety (30%) contributes with fine floral notes and leaves, leaving an impressive wine structure. The small portion of Yellow Ink brings the balance and harmony that characterize this fantastic wine. This full-bodied wine, of clear gastronomic ability, is so soft that it offers great pleasure even without accompanying any food. It is truly one of the best wines of the Douro region.

Quinta de Linhares Azal Branco 2017
It is a wine exclusively from the Azal variety, which is a very little known rustic breed. It is a wine with lemon aromas, quite reminiscent of fruits, such as lime and pineapple. It was awarded as the best green wine of 2018 by the Green Wine Viticulture Commission, at a gala held at the fabulous new Cruise Terminal of the Port of Leixões. The harvest of this fantastic wine is made manually for small boxes. Its vinification is carried out by the method of pressing the grapes at low pressure, followed by alcoholic fermentation in modern stainless steel vats, at highly controlled temperatures. Finishing this process, the wine accumulates in stainless steel vats for about four months, in the presence of fine lees. Before bottling, the wine is carefully filtered and stabilized through low temperatures. It is a very versatile wine which goes well with any kind of meat, fish or seafood.

With a citrus colour, the aroma of Quinta do Regueiro Primitivo Alvarinho 2015 White wine presents a great complexity, where the fruity style stands out. A very full-bodied wine, with a great volume and lots of freshness. It goes very well with some meats, fish and assorted seafood. The process of vinification counts on fermentation at a controlled temperature, through advanced technology, but, yet again, always respecting the traditional methods. It comes from very old vineyards, which average around 30 years old, located in the Region of the Rota dos Vinhos Verdes.
