The Terminal de Cruzeiros do Porto de Leixões is a small port complex of initiative of the Douro and Leixões Ports Administration, in Matosinhos, which was designed by the Portuguese architect Luís Pedro Silva. The design honors the Portuguese tiles when being coated with one million three-dimensional ceramic tiles – made in Portugal, of course. Glazed tiles achieve a chromatic variety through the way the sunlight strikes the hexagonal pieces, which changes throughout the day and the seasons.

O Terminal de Cruzeiros do Porto de Leixões é um pequeno complexo portuário de iniciativa da Administração dos Portos do Douro e Leixões, em Matosinhos, que ganhou forma pelas mãos do arquiteto português Luís Pedro Silva. O projeto honra os azulejos portugueses ao ser revestido com um milhão de azulejos em cerâmica tridimensionais – feitos em Portugal, claro. Os azulejos vidrados conseguem uma variedade cromática através da forma como a luz do sol incide sobre as peças hexagonais.
